Summary
A low that formed north of Darwin developed into tropical cyclone Tiffany on 27 February well north of the Pilbara coast as it moved on a general west southwest track. After briefly reaching category two intensity on 28 February, Tiffany weakened to a tropical low on 1 March over open waters.
Tiffany occurred west of 90°E when the Australian region extended to 80°E.
