Central pressure Lowest observed 984 hPa on the 11th near Mornington Is.
Winds Near hurricane intensity over Mornington Island on 11th with gusts to 61kts 113km/h. Gusts to 53kt on Thursday Island on the 7th reaching 60kts on the 9th.
Rainfall Heavy falls on Mornington Is. (200mm from 11th to 13th) and southern Gulf coastal region (up to 250mm from 12 to 15th). Bamaga 492mm in 4 days.
Seas & storm surge Very rough seas on 9th in Torres Strait. A 1.6m storm surge on southern Gulf coast (Karumba) on 11th
