Australia - New Zealand Climate Forum: Historical Overview
The ANZCF has been in existence since 1986, and held its first meeting in Newcastle. These Forums focus on climate and meteorological topics of interest to both countries.
Date of formation: 4th June 1985.

Dr Chris de Freitas, who at the time was senior lecturer in the Department of Geography,
University of Auckland, New Zealand.
Dr Andris Auliciems, who at the time was senior lecturer in the Department of Geography,
University of Queensland, Australia.
Dr Howard Bridgman, who at the time was senior lecturer in the Department of Geography,
University of Newcastle, NSW, Australia.
Dr Jack Hobbs, who at that time was senior lecturer in the Department of Geography, University of New England.
