About the Australia - New Zealand Climate Forum
The Australia - New Zealand Climate Forum (ANZCF) has been held every 18 months or so since 1986. The 2010 meeting will the 18th. The Forum brings together climate (and related sciences) researchers and users of climate information. It is a multi-organisational event with attendees mostly from Australia and New Zealand.
The Australia - New Zealand Climate Forum was formed on 4th June 1985 by
- Dr Chris de Freitas, then senior lecturer in the Department of Geography, University of Auckland, New Zealand.
- Dr Andris Auliciems, then senior lecturer in the Department of Geography, University of Queensland, Australia.
- Dr Howard Bridgeman, then senior lecturer in the Department of Geography, University of Newcastle, NSW, Australia.
