Conference dinner on Thursday evening

The conference dinner will be at the Royal Yacht Club of Tasmania, Sandy Bay, on the evening of Thursday 14 October. There'll be an after-dinner speaker, but mainly it is provided as a chance to catch up with people outside the confines of the conference itself. This can be especially useful to students and early-career scientists.

The cost of this is included in conference registration, but when you register online, please indicate if you'll be coming along. This will help us when organising the catering.

Our after-dinner speaker will be Ian Allison, recently of the Australian Antarctic Division and now an Honorary Fellow within the Antarctic Climate and Ecosystems Cooperative Research Centre. Ian will be reflecting on his more than 40 years of cryospheric research.
