SYNOPTIC SITUATION
A weak ridge extends along the east coast of Queensland. A new high will move
into the Tasman Sea on Tuesday and strengthen the coastal ridge.

Monday until midnight: Winds: NE 10 to 15 knots.  Seas: 0.7 metres. A few
showers and a possible thunderstorm this evening. 
Tuesday: Winds: SW to S at 5 to 10 knots early tending SE at 15 to 20 knots by
late morning.  Seas: 0.6 to 0.9 metres. 
Wednesday: Winds: SW to S at 5 to 10 knots early tending SE at 15 to 20 knots by
late morning. 
Thursday: Winds: SW to S at 5 to 10 knots early tending SE at 15 to 20 knots by
late morning.
