Weather Situation
A high pressure system over the central Tasman Sea will drift towards New
Zealand on Thursday. A low pressure trough will enter southwest Victoria late
today and will move slowly eastwards across the State on Thursday. The low
pressure trough will linger near northeastern Victoria on Friday and Saturday.
Another high pressure system will develop to the southwest of Tasmania on
Friday before drifting well to the south of Tasmania on Saturday.

Forecast for the rest of Wednesday 15 February
Mostly sunny with just patchy high cloud. Winds northeast to northwesterly
averaging 15 to 20 km/h tending west to southwesterly in the far west tonight.
Daytime maximum temperatures in the mid to high 30s.
