Weather Situation
A low pressure system tracking across Victoria will move rapidly southeastwards
across Bass Strait during Sunday to lie well southeast of Tasmania by Monday
morning. A high pressure ridge will extend over Victoria on Monday while a weak
cold front crosses Tasmania. A high pressure system will move across Victoria
on Tuesday to eventually reach the Tasman Sea later on Wednesday.

Forecast for the rest of Sunday
Cloudy. The chance of thunderstorms from this morning until late afternoon.
Heavy rain with localised flash flooding, easing to showers during the
afternoon. Winds northerly averaging 20 to 30 km/h, reaching 50 km/h at
elevation then tending west to southwesterly up to 35 km/h around midday.
Temperatures between 19 and 25 during the day.
