Weather Situation
A low pressure system tracking across Victoria will move rapidly southeastwards
across Bass Strait during Sunday to lie well southeast of Tasmania by Monday
morning. A high pressure ridge will extend over Victoria on Monday while a weak
cold front crosses Tasmania. A high pressure system will move across Victoria
on Tuesday to eventually reach the Tasman Sea later on Wednesday.

Forecast for the rest of Sunday
Cloudy. The chance of thunderstorms from this morning until late afternoon.
Heavy rain with flash flooding, easing to scattered showers during the
afternoon, easing to isolated showers tonight. Winds north to northwesterly
averaging 45 to 65 km/h, tending west to southwesterly up to 50 km/h around
midday. Temperatures between 13 and 19 during the day.
