Weather Situation
A high pressure system over the central Tasman Sea will drift towards New
Zealand on Thursday. A low pressure trough will enter southwest Victoria late
today and will move slowly eastwards across the State on Thursday. The low
pressure trough will linger near northeastern Victoria on Friday and Saturday.
Another high pressure system will develop to the southwest of Tasmania on
Friday before drifting well to the south of Tasmania on Saturday.

Forecast for the rest of Wednesday 15 February
Patchy high cloud extending from the west. Isolated showers possible but mostly
dry. Winds northeast to northwesterly averaging 15 to 25 km/h, increasing to 30
km/h ahead of a cooler westerly change up to 25 km/h in the west this evening.
Daytime maximum temperatures in the low to mid 30s.
