Weather Situation
A high pressure system over the central Tasman Sea will drift towards New
Zealand on Thursday. A low pressure trough will enter southwest Victoria late
today and will move slowly eastwards across the State on Thursday. The low
pressure trough will linger near northeastern Victoria on Friday and Saturday.
Another high pressure system will develop to the southwest of Tasmania on
Friday before drifting well to the south of Tasmania on Saturday.

Forecast for the rest of Wednesday 15 February
Mostly sunny. Patchy morning fog. Isolated showers about the ranges this
afternoon and evening. Winds northeast to northwesterly averaging 15 to 25 km/h
and local afternoon coastal seabreezes of similar strength. Daytime maximum
temperatures 26 to 32.

km/h tending southwesterly up to 25 km/h during the afternoon. Overnight
temperatures falling to between 13 and 17 with daytime temperatures reaching 26
to 31.

between 14 and 18 with daytime temperatures reaching 21 to 26.
