The Hydrometeorological Advisory Service provides specialised advice to the community on hydrometeorological issues. In recent years this advice has included the provision of rainfall Intensity-Frequency-Duration (IFD) data and Probable Maximum Precipitation (PMP) estimates. Non-specific services such as advice on rainfall and evaporation in Australia have also been provided in response to user demands.
