Tropical Cyclone Steve over the Northern Territory

Satellite image at 8am CST on the 2nd of March 2000, identifies the remnants of Steve as a tropical low over the Northern Territory. Although the system had weakened below cyclone strength, a strong circulation was maintained and wind gusts in excess of 90 kilometres per hour were observed across the Top End.
