Chapter 7 Australian Participation in the IPCCC

Australian Input to IPCCC Assessments > First Assessment Report 1990

Australia participated actively in all aspects of the First Assessment Report through to its approval at IPCC’s Fourth (Sundsvall) Session in August 1990. Nineteen Australian experts served as lead authors or contributors for various chapters, some for two or more chapters, and Australians were also centrally involved in the drafting of the Policymakers Summaries for the Working Group Reports as well as playing an active part in the formal review process.
