Chapter 7 Australian Participation in the IPCCC

Australian Input to IPCCC Assessments > Supplementary Report 1992

The IPCC's 1992 Supplement to the First Assessment Report (Bolin, 1992), which was approved by its Seventh Session in February 1992, dealt with key issues that had been identified as important for consideration by the final session of the Intergovernmental Negotiating Committee for the Framework Convention on Climate Change.

Eight Australian experts participated as lead authors or contributors to the report, with particular Australian contributions to the sea level, energy and agriculture sections of the 1992 Supplement based on the outcome of major international IPCC workshops in Perth on sea level rise in February 1990 and in Canberra on agriculture and forestry issues in January 1992.
