Atmosphere Watch Section

The Atmosphere Watch Section is responsible for the Bureau's Atmosphere Watch program whose mission is to provide high quality special climate- and environment- related observational data for the Australian region for information, monitoring, prediction and research purposes and for other specialised applications, and to ensure excellence in the performance and utility of all of the Bureau's surface meteorological instrumentation through laboratory support services.
