HF Radio Marine Weather Broadcasts

Renewal of HF Radio Contract

The Bureau is pleased to announce that the contract for its HF radio marine weather broadcasts has been renewed for a further 3 years. This means that broadcasts (both voice and radiofax) via VMC Charleville and VMW Wiluna will continue until at least 2010.

HF Radio - Marine Weather Broadcasts User Survey Report

As part of the review process leading up to the renewal of the HF contract, the Bureau commissioned a user survey to gauge the level of usage of the service, evaluate the needs of the users and highlight areas for improvement. The survey ran from December 2005 to March 2006.
