The Bureau of Meteorology has generated a range of improved meteorological analyses for Australia as a contribution to the Australian Water Availability Project (AWAP). The meteorological analyses include rainfall, temperature, vapour pressure and solar exposure over time periods ranging from daily, weekly, monthly to 3-yearly.
The products displayed on this page are produced through the Australian Water Availability Project. Partners in this project are the Bureau of Rural Sciences, CSIRO and the Australian Bureau of Meteorology. This project was part supported by the National Heritage Trust.
These new climate analyses are substantially more accurate and offer higher resolution than those available at http://www.bom.gov.au/cgi-bin/silo/rain_maps.cgi, and are being provided under a trial. Please note that the official Bureau climate analyses are available here.
