These decadal (10-year) and multi-decadal (20 or 30-year) temperature maps allow you to compare and contrast changes in temperature patterns across Australia over different timescales.

These maps show the average annual maximum and minimum temperatures over the specified 10, 20 or 30-year period. They are useful in identifying longer-term variations in Australia's temperature patterns over the last 100 years. For example, you can compare the average maximum temperature during a decade close to the beginning of the century, with the average maximum temperature in a more recent decade.
