Well laid out site easy to read with much information relevant to meteorology. Links to other sites regarding similar information, also includes a search engine to help find educational information. Teacher resources and on-line learning activities can be found in or by this web site. Help for parent's available, pretty good site with some animated diagrams to be found.

AMS's DataStreme Project 'Training of Weather Education Resource Teachers'
Not really well laid out but a useful teacher resource to help them teach their students about meteorology. Many maps and activities at this site.

NOAA Office of Meteorology Home
Easy to read layout. Interactive activities for kids, plenty of information regarding weather conditions and awareness of extreme weather conditions (eg hurricanes). Links to other educational sites. Educational resources available. Included is a link to the NOAA photo library. Plenty of links to other NOAA sites. Add a '/tornado.htm' to the end of the above site to get plenty of information on hurricanes.

EPA Global Warming site
Information in the form of reports on gas emissions from different situations (in PDF format). Information about the effects of global warming, what is causing it, what its impacts are and how we're trying to avoid it's effects. Well laid out site, designed as an informative site for everyone and is not aimed at students and teachers, so there are no teacher resources.

Hurricanes: Science and Society
The HSS website and its associated educational resources provide information on the science of hurricanes, methods of observing hurricanes, modeling and forecasting of hurricanes, how hurricanes impact society, and how people and communities can prepare for and mitigate the impacts of hurricanes. The site is published by The University of Rhode Island/Graduate School of Oceanography.

Project Atmosphere Australia on-line
Nice easy to read site layout. Contains much weather information for students, includes animations and photos. Contains lots of Teacher activities resources and support.

Weather - What forces affect our weather
Plenty of information about the atmosphere, water cycle, powerful storms, ice and snow, forecasts, and changing climate. Easy to read site layout. Has interactive activities and links to other sites about weather.

Glaciology Group at the Niels Bohr institute, University of Copenhagen DK
Nicely laid-out, easy to read site. Plenty of information about Glaciology which is (according to this site) relevant to climate. Good informative site if you want to know about Glaciology.

GLOBE
Site with good layout, student and teacher resources and a lot of information, though it seems to be more about environmental issues rather than meteorology (though I did see a little on climate).

CERES
Easy to read site, which is also easy to navigate, with information regarding climate. Seems to be a lot of information. Teacher resources such as lesson plans are easily available here.

NCDC Climatic Extremes and Weather Events
Good layout and easy to navigate. Plenty of information, all on extreme weather and climate events. Includes things like images, storm reports and information on US tornadoes.

NOAA educational web site
Easy to read site with plenty of information and resources for both teachers and students. Has links to other NOAA sites that also contain information, images and movies. There are information categories including Weather and Climate.

UTAH Climate Center
Easy to read site with lots of information about weather in Utah and weather and climate in general. Contains links to various other sites concerning weather and meteorology.

UK Met Office
Very useful for teachers who want basic meteorological information. The following educational weather pages have been designed to aid teachers and pupils in extending their understanding and knowledge of weather and climate, not only in the UK but also around the world. The Curriculum Learning Centre includes several worksheets and covers activities linked to wallcharts and posters.

Weather Eye
Nice simple well laid out site, easy to navigate and has plenty of information, with lessons and experiments for grades 2-12. There is also a 'Teachers Lounge' with lesson plans and resources.

NASA Global Change Master Directory
Nicely designed and easy to read. Contains much information relative to meteorology. Contains images, projects and free learning resources

Global Climate Animations
Easy to read site which contains animations about climate patterns.

USA Today
Well designed easy to read sight with plenty of animations, information, movies and images.
