National Meteorological Library

Services

The National Meteorological Library provides the following information services. (Please note that some services are restricted to Bureau staff members)

research on specific weather and climate-related topics, searching local, national and international databases
answers to routine enquiries such as definitions of scientific terms, average temperatures of particular cities, addresses and quotations
advice on individual research needs
verification of citations for forthcoming papers
library-related information, including the New Books listing
loans, interlibrary loans or photocopies on request

The Library is located on the 9th Floor, 700 Collins St, Docklands (on the Collins St. bridge), Victoria, Australia 3008.

The Library is open to Bureau staff and the general public from 9:00am to 5:00pm. (Bureau staff members can gain access to the library at other times by prior arrangement with the Chief Librarian).
