Sea Surface Temperature Analysis Service Change

During the week beginning 27 August 2007 the Bureau of Meteorology will be changing the Australian Regional Sea Surface Temperature Analysis (SST) to a higher resolution scheme which also includes more satellite data. There will be a slight change to the display program which produces the images on this web page but the content on the page will be the same.

An example of the new images is shown below (for the Queensland Region).

A full description of the new higher resolution SST Analysis can be obtained from the Analysis and Prediction Operations Bulletin 68.
