Coastal Waters Forecast for South Australia

Weather Situation

A broad low pressure system will develop over the west of the State on Tuesday, then move slowly eastwards across the north of the State to be over NSW on Friday. A ridge of high pressure will extend over the State on the weekend from a high well south of the Bight.

Far West Coast: WA-SA Border to Fowlers Bay

Gale Warning for Tuesday for Far West Coast

Winds: Easterly 20 to 30 knots, reaching 25 to 35 knots offshore in the late afternoon. Seas: 2 to 3 metres, increasing to 2.5 to 4 metres offshore. 1st Swell: Southwesterly 2 metres, tending southerly 2 to 2.5 metres during the afternoon. 2nd Swell: South to southeasterly 1 to 2 metres tending southeasterly 1.5 to 2.5 metres by early evening.
