Coastal Waters Forecast for South Australia

Weather Situation

A high pressure ridge extends across the State. A weak cold front will move over the far south of the State later on Friday. A high pressure system will develop over the western Bight on Saturday, then moving southeastwards on Sunday and Monday.

Far West Coast: WA-SA Border to Fowlers Bay

Forecast for Thursday 21 October until midnight

Winds: Southeast to southwesterly 10 to 15 knots, reaching 15 to 20 knots inshore till early evening. Seas: Below 1 metre. Swell: Southwesterly 1 to 1.5 metres inshore, increasing to 1.5 to 2 metres offshore. Weather: Mostly clear.

Forecast for Friday 22 October

Winds: Southeasterly 10 to 15 knots turning south to southwesterly during the morning, increasing to 15 to 20 knots during the afternoon.
