NDVI Browse Service
Normalised Difference Vegetation Index (NDVI) products are produced by the Bureau of Meteorology for the Australian region using measurements from the Advanced Very High Resolution Radiometer (AVHRR) on board the USA's NOAA polar orbiting meteorological satellites. This service provides access to browse images (1:10 resolution) of Monthly Normalised Differential Vegetation Index (NDVI) Maps. The search below returns a number of pages which include links to Monthly Composite Maps ( available from January 1997 to penultimate current month ) for the requested period. Links are then available to view the maps individually or as a loop. The option is provided to adjust the number of months in each page with a default option of 12. |
