The histogram below shows the local times of receipt of all the LAPS grids from each forecast run available on McIdas in the New South Wales Regional Office for the April to June quarter of 2002. Time intervals are half hourly so that, for example, if the last LAPS gridfile arrives between 0 minutes and 29 minutes past 1400, then 1 is added to the total for the 14.0 to 14.5 interval. Similarly, if the last gridfile arrives between 30 minutes and 59 minutes past 1400, then 1 is added to the 14.5 to 15.0 interval.

In the NSW, Queensland and Victorian regions 100% of the grids were available before the nominal model deadlines of 0300 EST and 1500 EST.
