Weather Situation
A slow-moving high pressure system over the southern Tasman Sea extends a ridge to New South Wales north coast.
Strong wind warning for New South Wales waters between Montague Island and Merimbula
Winds: North to northeasterly then tending northerly and increasing up to 30 knots Wednesday evening. Combined sea and swell: Increasing up to 3 metres.
Strong wind warning for New South Wales waters between Merimbula and Gabo Island
Winds: North to northeasterly then tending northerly and increasing up to 30 knots during the evening. Combined sea and swell: Increasing up to 3 metres.
The next warning will be issued by 5:00 pm EDT Wednesday.
