Minor Flood Warning for the Myall River

at Bulahdelah

MINOR FLOODING OCCURRING AT BULAHDELAH

Moderate to heavy rainfall totals have resulted in minor flooding along the Myall River at Bulahdelah, where renewed river level rises are occurring.

Further rainfall is forecast for the remainder of Thursday and into Friday.

The situation is being closely monitored, and the warning will be update as required.

Myall River:

Minor flooding is occurring along the Myall River.

The Myall River at Bulahdelah is currently at 3.44 metres and rising, above the minor flooding (3.0 m). The Myall River at Bulahdelah may peak near 3.80 metres Thursday night.

Flood Safety Advice:

In life threatening emergencies, call 000 (triple zero) immediately. If you require rescue, assistance to evacuate or other emergency help, ring NSW SES on 132 500.

  • * Avoid drowning. Stay out of rising water, seek refuge in the highest available place.
  • * Prevent damage to your vehicle. Move it under cover, away from areas likely to flood.
  • * Avoid being swept away. Stay out of fast-flowing creeks and storm drains.
  • * Never drive, ride or walk through flood water. Flood water can be deceptive and dangerous.
