A Strong Wind Warning is current for all coastal waters between the WA Border
and Queensland border.

Synoptic Situation
A strong high over the Great Australian Bight is directing a strong southeast
surge over all coastal waters. Winds are expected to ease slightly late in the
weekend as the high moves over southeast Australia.

Friday until midnight: Southeast winds 25/30 knots, easing to 20/25 knots
inshore. Seas 2 to 3m.
Saturday: Southeast winds 25/30 knots, easing to 15/20 knots in the afternoon.
Seas 2 to 3m.
Sunday Outlook: Southeast winds 15/20 knots, easing to 10/15 knot during the
afternoon.
