Fire Weather Warning
for the Darwin and Adelaide River fire forecast area

Weather Situation

A ridge of high pressure extends from a High in the Tasman Sea to the Northern Territory and will direct dry, moderate to fresh and gusty east to southeast winds across the Top End during Wednesday.

Severe Fire Danger is forecast for the following fire forecast area:
Darwin and Adelaide River

Bushfires NT and NT Fire and Rescue Service advise you to:

  • Action your Bushfire Survival Plan now.
  • Monitor the fire and weather situation through your local radio station,, and
  • Call 000 (Triple Zero) in an emergency.
