Tides, Sea Levels & Related Information

The South Pacific Sea Level and Climate Monitoring Project is gathering significant oceanographic and meteorological data. It is an objective of the Project to make these data and related information readily available and easily accessible to the project partners, the international scientific community, and the public.

This page provides access to project generated tidal and meteorological data and information, both current and historical for the period of the Project so far.

Monthly Data Reports

The National Tidal Centre produces a comprehensive data report for the Project each month. These monthly data reports contain project updates, notes on the month's data and figures showing tidal, oceanographic and meteorological data for that month.

Monthly Data Reports for the current year and the past year are available via this website. Later reports dating back to July 1995 are available on request from the National Tidal Centre.

Six Monthly Consolidated Data Reports

A consolidated Summary Report of Sea Level data for the period November 2005 to June 2006 is available via this website. This is the last report in the Six Monthly Consolidated Data Report series. The information provided in these reports is now available in the annual Pacific Island Country Status Reports.

Previous reports dating back to November 2003 are available on request from the National Tidal Centre.

Tidal Calendars

The 2008 & 2009 Tidal Calendars, produced by the National Tidal Centre for 16 locations in the Pacific region, are now available.

Sea Level and Climate Data

To access Hourly Sea Level and Meteorological Data (Registered Users Only), you will need to Register with the National Tidal Centre.
