A strong cold front will bring showers, possibly some isolated thunderstorms with small hail and snow about the ranges this evening. A cold day is expected on Sunday in the wake of the front with less shower activity than on Saturday. A ridge of high pressure will become established over the ACT early in the new week with a return to fine conditions expected.
