512 km composite Geraldton Radar Loop

The Geraldton radar will be offline from mid-March 2019 for approximately 12 weeks. This will be necessary to upgrade the radar to Doppler capability. We apologise for any inconvenience this may cause. Weather warnings and forecasts will still be produced for the Geraldton area and can be obtained from MetEye. Satellite imagery with lightning detection can be used to track storms in the area via our Satellite Viewer. Current observations are available from our observation page. Live rainfall totals for the area can be found on our rainfall and river conditions page. This upgrade is being funded by the WA Government DPIRD.
