Severe weather warning for flash flooding within this area.

Weather Situation

A low pressure system will continue to move rapidly southeastwards across Tasmania overnight. A high pressure ridge will extend over Victoria on Monday while a weak cold front crosses Tasmania. The high pressure system will move across Victoria on Tuesday to eventually reach the Tasman Sea later on Wednesday ahead of a trough of low pressure later in the west on Thursday.

Forecast for the rest of Sunday

Partly cloudy. Isolated showers this evening. Winds southwesterly averaging 20 to 30 km/h.

Forecast for Monday

Partly cloudy. Winds south to southwesterly averaging 15 to 25 km/h, reaching 30 km/h at times. Overnight temperatures falling to around 8 with daytime temperatures reaching between 18 and 23.
