Severe weather warning for flash flooding within this area.

Weather Situation

A low pressure system is expected to approach the northwest of Victoria later Saturday then pass over the State early Sunday to reach the southern Tasman Sea by Sunday afternoon. A high pressure ridge will extend over Victoria later Sunday associated with a high that will move over the Bight on Monday and then move across the State on Tuesday.

Forecast for Sunday

Cloudy. Areas of rain, locally heavy with possible flash flooding, easing to isolated showers during the afternoon. The chance of thunderstorms in the morning. Winds north to northwesterly averaging 25 to 35 km/h, reaching 55 km/h at times, tending west to southwesterly up to 35 km/h around midday. Overnight temperatures falling to around 16 with daytime temperatures reaching between 19 and 25.
