Weather Situation

A high pressure system will be located over the Tasman Sea for the next few days. A weak trough of low pressure will form over southwest Victoria on Monday before drifting through the State on Tuesday. Another strong high pressure system will develop over the Bight on Monday before moving towards Tasmania on Tuesday then becoming slow moving on Wednesday near Tasmania.

Sunny. Winds northeasterly averaging 15 to 25 km/h, reaching 30 km/h at times. Temperatures in the lower 30s during the day.

Forecast for Monday

Becoming cloudy. Winds north to northeasterly averaging 10 to 20 km/h tending mainly southwesterly up to 30 km/h during the afternoon. Overnight temperatures falling to around 16 with daytime temperatures reaching the lower 30s.

Sunny day. The chance of thunderstorms during the evening. Light winds tending southeast to southwesterly up to 35 km/h during the afternoon. Overnight temperatures falling to around 15 with daytime temperatures reaching 26 to 33.

Forecast for Wednesday

Morning cloud. Winds southeasterly averaging about 10 km/h, reaching 30 km/h at times. Overnight temperatures falling to around 15 with daytime temperatures reaching 25 to 34.
