Weather Situation

A low pressure system is expected to approach the northwest of Victoria later Saturday then pass over the State early Sunday to reach the southern Tasman Sea by Sunday afternoon. A high pressure ridge will extend over Victoria later Sunday associated with a high that will move over the Bight on Monday.

Forecast for the rest of Saturday

Cloudy. Isolated showers, increasing to areas of rain during the afternoon. Light winds. Temperatures in the lower 20s during the day.

Forecast for Sunday

Cloudy. Areas of rain, easing to isolated showers around midday. Winds southeasterly averaging 10 to 20 km/h tending southwesterly up to 45 km/h around dawn. Overnight temperatures falling to around 13 with daytime temperatures reaching around 18.

Partly cloudy. Isolated showers until late afternoon. Winds west to southwesterly averaging 20 to 30 km/h, reaching 40 km/h at times, tending south to southwesterly up to 25 km/h later in the evening. Overnight temperatures falling to between 7 and 12 with daytime temperatures reaching the lower 20s.

Mostly sunny. Winds northwest to southwesterly averaging 10 to 20 km/h tending southeast to southwesterly by early evening. Overnight temperatures falling to around 9 with daytime temperatures reaching the lower 20s.
