A cold front is moving through eastern Bass Strait tonight then a high pressure system over Bight waters will progress steadily eastwards.
Strong wind warning for Port Phillip
Winds: Southwesterly up to 30 knots, moderating a little on Sunday morning. Seas: 1.5 metres.
Strong wind warning for Western Port
Winds: Southwesterly up to 30 knots. Seas: 2.5 to 3 metres in the south.
Strong wind warning for Gippsland Lakes
Winds: West to southwesterly up to 30 knots.
The next warning will be issued by 05:00 am EST Sunday.
