STORM FORCE WIND WARNING FOR WESTERN AND SOUTHEASTERN AREAS.
 
PLEASE BE AWARE 
Wind gusts can be 40 percent stronger than the averages given here, and maximum
waves may be up to twice the height.
 
Situation
Vigorous westerly flow associated with a low 992 hPa near 50S128E at 190600UTC,
forecast 988 hPa near 50.5S132E at 191200UTC, 984 hPa near 50.5S136E at
191800UTC, 983 hPa near 50.5S141E at 200000UTC, and then moving further
southeast.

Forecast
W quarter winds 34/47 knots confined to within 240nm of low centre in the
western and northern semicircles. Winds further increasing to 45/55 knots within
150nm of low centre in the northwest quadrant after 191800UTC. Rough to very
rough seas, rising to high with storm force winds. Heavy swell.
