STORM FORCE WIND WARNING 5 FOR SOUTHEASTERN AND SOUTHERN AREAS

SITUATION AT 201800UTC
Vigorous flow associated with low 950hPa near 57S156E. Forecast low 953hPa near
57S159E at 210000UTC, 954hPa near 57S163E at 210600UTC, and 955hPa near 56S168E
at 211200UTC, and far east of area thereafter.

AREA AFFECTED
Bounded by 43S147E 58S140E 55S160E 42S163E 43S147E.

FORECAST
Westerly quarter winds 34/45 knots throughout most of area initially,
contracting to east of line 45S160E 55S144E by 210600UTC, and east of line
49S160E 54S153E at 211800UTC. Winds increasing to 45/55 knots within 300nm in
northern semicircle of low. Very rough to high seas. Moderate to heavy swell.
