STORM FORCE WIND WARNING FOR SOUTHERN AND SOUTHEASTERN AREAS

SITUATION AT 0600UTC
Vigorous flow associated with a cold front 54S152E 57S157E 60S160E 62S160E to
low 945hPa near 62S150E. Forecast 54S158E 60S165E to low 946Hpa near 62S157E at
290600UTC, and then east of the area by 291200UTC.

AREA AFFECTED
Bounded by 57S120E 53S127E 46S155E 46S160E 63S160E 63S120E 57S120E.

FORECAST
Northwesterly quarter winds 34/45 knots within 360nm east of front, shifting
westerly quarter west of front. Clockwise winds 34/45 knots within 360nm of low
increasing to 45/55 knots within 180nm of low centre in northern semicircle
until 290600UTC. Gales easing west of 127E by 291800UTC and west of 145E by
292100UTC. Very rough to high seas rising to very high seas with storm force
winds. Moderate to heavy swell.
