HURRICANE FORCE WIND WARNING 10 FOR SOUTHEASTERN, WESTERN, AND SOUTHERN AREAS

SITUATION AT 171800UTC
Vigorous flow associated with weakening cold front 50S141E 55S138E to low
944hPa near 56S130E. Forecast just low 940hPa near 58S131E at 180000UTC, low
939hPa near 60S132E at 180600UTC, low 941hPa near 61S133E at 181200UTC, and low
941hPa near 61S135E at 181800UTC.

Bounded by 50S121E 49S131E 50S144E 62S146E 62S121E 50S121E

FORECAST
Northwesterly quarter winds 34/47 knots within 180nm east of cold front,
turning clockwise 34/47 knots within 420nm of low. Wind speeds increasing to
48/63 knots within 180nm of low in northern semicircle. Winds increasing
further to 60/70 knots within 180nm of low in northern quadrant. Winds easing
below 64 knots by 180000UTC, and easing below 48 knots by 180900UTC. Very rough
to high seas, rising to very high seas in storm force winds, and rising to
phenomenal seas in hurricane force winds. Heavy swell.
