Weather Situation
A surface trough stretching from the northwest down to the southeastern interior will move slowly east today, bringing the chance of showers and thunderstorms across southern and western Queensland. A high in the South Pacific extends a ridge across central and northern Queensland, promoting more stable conditions. The surface trough will sink westwards from Tuesday as a new high enters the Tasman Sea and extends a strengthening ridge and cooler southeasterly winds across eastern Queensland.

Partly cloudy. The chance of fog early this morning. Slight chance of a shower. Light winds becoming northeasterly 15 to 25 km/h in the morning then becoming light in the evening. Daytime maximum temperatures 28 to 35.
