Weather Situation

A weakening high pressure system over eastern South Australia will move slowly eastwards across southern Queensland in the next few days, maintaining dry and stable conditions across the state. A slow moving upper low will develop through central Australia and move over southern Queensland late in the week and the weekend. There is still some uncertainty associated with this feature but it should result in some shower and thunderstorm activity, particularly over the southeastern corner of the state.

Sunny. Areas of frost early this morning. Winds easterly 15 to 25 km/h tending northeasterly in the late afternoon then becoming light in the late evening. Daytime maximum temperatures 22 to 27.
