Weather Situation

A broad trough extends from the Gulf of Carpentaria across northeastern Queensland to a low developing off the Fraser coast. This low is expected to move southeast further offshore today and Friday.A high in the Great Australian Bight will move east, reaching the Tasman Sea by late Friday. A weak low may form in the northern Coral Sea over the weekend, before moving southeastwards.
