SYNOPTIC SITUATION
A ridge extends along the east Queensland coast, and is expected to strengthen
over the next few days as a slow moving high enters the Tasman Sea. A trough
over the central Coral Sea is expected to move slowly west.

FORECAST FOR MORETON BAY
      
Wednesday until midnight: Winds: S to SE 15 to 20 knots, increasing to 20 to 25
knots during the morning.  Seas: 1 metre increasing to 1.3 metres. Isolated
showers. 
Thursday: Winds: E to SE 15 to 20 knots. Lighter S to SW winds over the far
western bay early morning. Seas: 1 metre. Scattered showers. 
Friday: Winds: SE 15 to 20 knots.

Wednesday until midnight: Winds: S to SE 20 to 25 knots. Seas: 1.7 to 2.2
metres. Swell: Less than 1.5 metres. Isolated showers, scattered in the north
during the morning.
Thursday: Winds: E to SE 15 to 20 knots, reaching 20 to 25 knots north of Cape
Moreton.   Seas: 1.7 to 2.2 metres.  Swell: Less than 1.5 metres. Scattered
showers.
Friday: Winds: SE 15 to 20 knots.
