SYNOPTIC SITUATION
A weak ridge extends along the east Queensland coast, and is expected to
strengthen this afternoon and over the next few days as a slow moving high
enters the Tasman Sea.

Tuesday until midnight: Winds: S to SE 20 to 25 knots. Seas: to 1 metre.
Isolated showers.
Wednesday: Winds: SE 15 to 20 knots, reaching 20 to 25 knots at times over the
southern and eastern bay. Lighter S to SW winds over the far western bay early
morning. Seas: to 1.3 metres. Isolated showers. 
Thursday: Winds: E to SE 15 to 20 knots. Lighter S to SW winds over the far
western bay early morning.
Friday: Winds: SE 15 to 20 knots.
