Final Flood Warning for the Bremer River and Warrill Creek

MINOR FLOODING EASED ALONG THE BREMER RIVER AND WARRILL CREEK

No significant rainfall has been observed in the 24 hours to 9:00am Tuesday in the Bremer River and Warrill Creek catchments. River and creek levels have eased throughout the catchments.

The chance of showers is forecast for the next few days, but these are not expected to significantly affect river and creek levels.

Warrill Creek:

No further flooding is expected in the Warrill Creek.

No recent observations are available at Kalbar, where the river level is estimated to be below the minor flood level (6.00 metres). The Warrill Creek at Kalbar is expected to remain below the minor flood level.

The Warrill Creek at Harrisville is currently at 0.80 metres and steady, below the minor flood level. The Warrill Creek at Harrisville is expected to remain below the minor flood level (3.00 m).

The Warrill Creek at Amberley is currently at 2.58 metres and falling, below the minor flood level. The Warrill Creek at Amberley is expected to remain below the minor flood level (4.00 m).

Bremer River:

No further flooding is expected in the Bremer River.

The Bremer River at Rosewood is currently at 2.24 metres and falling, below the minor flood level. The Bremer River at Rosewood is expected to remain below the minor flood level (4.00 m).

The Bremer River at Five Mile Bridge is currently at 2.36 metres and falling, below the minor flood level. The Bremer River at Five Mile Bridge is expected to remain below the minor flood level (3.50 m).

The Bremer River at Walloon is currently at 3.38 metres and falling, below the minor flood level. The Bremer River at Walloon is expected to remain below the minor flood level (5.00 m).

The Bremer River at Ipswich is currently at 0.82 metres and rising on the tide, well below the minor flood level. The Bremer River at Ipswich is expected to remain below the minor flood level (7.00 m).
