Moderate Flood Warning for the lower Bulloo River

Flood Warning Number: 15

The river level at Thargomindah is expected to fall below the moderate flood level on Saturday.

No significant rainfall is expected until Sunday and Monday when another trough is likely to bring widespread rain and showers across the catchment.

Bulloo River downstream of Quilpie:

Minor to moderate flooding is occurring along the Bulloo River downstream of Quilpie.

Minor flood levels are steady on the Bulloo River at Autumnvale just below the moderate flood level (5.5 m). Downstream, moderate flood levels are steady at Thargomindah. The river level at Thargomindah is expected to fall below the moderate flood level (4.5 m) during Saturday.
