MINOR FLOOD WARNING FOR THE LOWER DIAMANTINA RIVER

River level rises are expected along the lower reaches of the Diamantina River at Birdsville during next week, where minor flood levels are possible.
DIAMANTINA RIVER DOWNSTREAM OF DIAMANTINA LAKES:
River level rises have commenced at Durrie Station on Friday morning, with rises expected further downstream at Roseberth during the weekend.
River level rises are also expected to reach Birdsville during next week.
Predicted River Heights/Flows:
DIAMANTINA RIVER at:
BIRDSVILLE: Rises above the minor flood levels (4.0 metres) are possible during next week.
Predictions will be provided once upstream peaks are recorded.
