Flood Warning for the lower Diamantina River

Flood Warning Number: 2

Minor flood levels are rising on the Diamantina River at Diamantina Lakes.

Rainfall recorded during the last few days of 20-45 mm were recorded in the local Diamantina Lakes catchment area. No significant rainfall is forecast for the next few days.

Diamantina River to Diamantina Lakes:

The river level on Sunday morning is 0.26 metres above the causeway on the Springvale Diamantina Lakes Road, and continuing to slowly rise.
