Minor Flood Warning for the Don River and Flood Warning for the Proserpine River

Flood Warning Number: 14

River levels in the Don and Proserpine Rivers are easing.

No further heavy rainfall is expected across the catchment.

Don River:

Minor flooding is occurring along the Don River.

The Don River at Bowen Pump Station peaked at 5.35 metres around 10:00 am Thursday 30 March and is currently at 3.25 metres and falling. The Don River at Bowen Pump Station is likely to remain above the minor flood level during much of Thursday.

Proserpine River:

Conditions are generally easing across the catchment.
