MODERATE FLOOD WARNING FOR THE ISAAC RIVER

MINOR FLOOD WARNING FOR THE MACKENZIE, DAWSON AND FITZROY RIVERS

Moderate flood levels continue to ease at Yatton. Minor flood levels are rising on the lower Dawson with minor flood levels possible at Yaamba on the Fitzroy River over the weekend.

No significant rainfall is expected over the next few days.

DAWSON RIVER TO THEODORE:

River levels continue to ease at Tarana Crossing and Taroom. River levels are falling slowly at Glebe Weir but rising downstream at Theodore.

DAWSON RIVER DOWNSTREAM OF THEODORE:

River levels are rising at Moura and further downstream between Bindaree and Beckers.

ISAAC RIVER:

Moderate flood levels continue to ease at Yatton.

MACKENZIE RIVER TO TARTRUS:

River levels have eased below the minor flood level (11.0 metres) at Tartrus. Downstream, minor flood levels are steady at Coolmaringa.

FITZROY RIVER:

River levels are rising slowly at Riverslea, but are relatively steady downstream between The Gap and Wattlebank. River levels are rising at South Yaamba.

Predicted River Heights/Flows:

DAWSON RIVER at:

TAROOM: River levels will continue to ease over the next few days.

THEODORE: A flood peak around the minor flood level (8.0 metres) is possible by Friday evening.

MOURA (Manual gauge): Minor flood levels (6.0 metres) are possible by late Saturday.

BARALABA (Manual gauge): Minor flood levels are expected to continue rising into the weekend.

Predictions will be refined for Moura and Baralaba once upstream peaks are observed.

ISAAC RIVER at:

YATTON: Moderate flood levels will continue to ease over the next few days.

MACKENZIE RIVER at:

TARTRUS: River levels will continue to ease over the next few days.

FITZROY RIVER:

YAAMBA: Minor flood levels (9.0 metres) are possible over the weekend.

ROCKHAMPTON: River levels will remain below the minor flood level (7.0 metres).

Predictions will be refined once upstream peaks are observed.
