Minor Flood Warning for the lower Isaac River

Flood Warning Number: 9

Minor flood levels are easing along the lower reaches of the Isaac River at Yatton.

Rainfall totals of between 70 - 120mm have been recorded in the upper reaches of the Connors and Isaac River catchments in the 24 hours to 9:00 am Tuesday. Heavy rainfall associated with the movement of Tropical Cyclone Debbie is expected during today and Wednesday.

Connors and Isaac Rivers:

Renewed level rises are likely across the catchment area later this week associated with the movement of Tropical Cyclone Debbie.

The Isaac River at Yatton is currently at 7.64 metres and falling. The river level at Yatton is expected to fall below the minor flood level (7.50 m) early Tuesday afternoon.
