Final Flood Warning for the Kolan and Boyne Rivers

Flood Warning Number: 18

River levels fell below the minor flood level on the Kolan River at Bucca Weir on Monday morning.

Locally heavy falls are possible with storms on Monday, which may lead to some renewed rises across the Baffle, Boyne, Calliope and Kolan catchments. The situation will continue to be closely monitored and flood warnings issued if required.

Kolan River:

The Kolan River at Bucca Weir fell below the minor flood level (17.5 metres) around 6:00 am Monday and is currently at 17.44 metres and falling very slowly.

Outflows from Fred Haigh Dam will continue well into this week.

Boyne River:

Outflows from Awoonga Dam will continue for much of this week.
